Corma Industries’ marketing team sat down recently for a strategic planning session to develop our value proposition and revamp our mission and vision statements for our brand. This exercise helped me solidify how our machine shop can partner with our customers to provide them with manufacturing solutions for their personalized needs.
A value proposition is a short statement that explains why our product or service solves our customers’ problems and improves their situation. It lets our customers know why they should buy from Corma instead of other machine shops. A value proposition differs from a mission statement, which defines an organization’s purpose and primary objectives for that business. A vision statement outlines the company’s values that serve the guide the organization’s mission.
After discussing what our machine shop can do for our customers, we came up with Corma’s new value statement:
At Corma Industries, we partner with our customers to bring their product design to life through our innovative milling technology and automation. Your product manufacturing needs are our focus.
In addition to creating our value proposition, we revamped our mission and vision statements below:
Mission Statement:
Corma Industries promises exceptional service and high quality, customer driven products for all our client’s machining needs.
Our renewed vision statement is:
Corma Industries strives to be a milling industry leader through innovation, balance and continual growth.
As you can see, all three statements work together to convey the same message that reflects Corma’s commitment to uniting with our customers to manufacture the product they have designed, whether it’s a production run of 5,000 parts or 20. We don’t just say provide excellent service, we live this maxim on a day to day basis, by listening to our client’s needs. Our goal is to give our clients a sense of peace and accomplishment in their work. That is why we say that we partner with our customers. Corma’s end goal is to make our client’s work easier and less stressful.
At Corma, we pride ourselves in high-end rapid milling machines. We have two Matsuura VX-1500 milling centres, with a spindle speed of 15,000:CAT 40, travel (X/Y/Z) of 1,524mm/700mm/610mm and a loading capacity of 4,400 lbs. The vertical milling centre holds 48 tools. Corma also has a Matsuura VX-1000 vertical milling centres and a YCM TCV 2000A milling machine, among others.
We look forward to working with our customers to create some outstanding products that will propel their company’s profits upward astronomically. Call us at (403) 230-0113 or email us at craig@cormaindustries.ca today to see how we can help you.
